Mi-Me Body Nectar
Mi-Me Sweet Neroli Body Nectar

It’s summertime here in the Okanagan and you know what that means, time to start showing some serious skin! Well, if you’re like me you’ve done a particularly good job at pretending you don’t have skin from you ankles to your shoulders over the winter, you’re most likely in panic mode right now. Calm down! I’ve found the golden solution, and guess what? It’s up for grabs!

This is Mi-Me Sweet Neroli Body Nectar ($53.00USD – 8oz). I was first introduced to Mi-Me’s Handmade Bath & Body products through my Petit Vour subscription – seriously, it’s how I discover everything – when there was a full-sized Tangerine Hydrating Lip Butter included in one of my boxes. I’m a lip balm junkie so it didn’t take me long to fall in love with Mi-Me! After testing and loving the lip balm I headed straight over to their site and ordered this bottle of pure heaven!

If you can’t see the label clearly, this gorgeous nectar is made up of Sunflower Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Camilla Oil, Pomegranate Oil, Rosehip Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, Vanilla Absolute and Neroli and Ginger essential Oils. I’ve never found anything more decadent to apply to my usually dry and itchy skin after a shower. I have quite an aversion to applying thick moisturizers and creams to my whole body, especially in the summer, because I tend to feel it all day. This isn’t the quickest absorbing body oil I have but the end result is worth it! I like to apply this at night so I wake up with super soft and supple skin! Oh and PS, you’ll smell a-ma-zing!

So, have I convinced you that you NEED this in your life yet? Good. And good thing I have one to give away! Enter using the Gleam widget below for super soft summer skin!

I like using coconut oil to nourish my hair.

    • Me too Emily! Coconut Oil is great for so many things – including cooking! 🙂

  • Doris

I have a question about frizzy hair…what is a good natural product that I can use to help control the frizz?

    • Hey Doris! I actually use what’s left over on my hands after applying this Nectar to my body to tame down frizzies in my hair. The trick is not to use too much, just a tiny bit will help and nourish your hair instead of just masking it like silicones.

      • Doris

        Great tip….thank you!!!

  • Rebecca Hill

Just like I apply lotion to my body post-shower, I use oils in my hair. It helps keep them nourished, healthy and shiny!

    • Yes! I use this body Nectar on both my hair AND body! So much nourishment in such a small package!

  • angela mitchell

I suffer from mild rosacea and I have discovered that if I wash my face with warm water only in the shower in the morning and then wash once again before bed with a gentle cleanser my skin is so less irriated/red/dry than if I wash more often or with with a cleanser every time. I think sometimes less is more and finding the right balance for your individual skin is key:)

    • I definitely agree with you Angela! I have sensitive skin as well and have found the more natural the products I use are with the least ingredients in them, the better my skin reacts! Simple can be good!

  • Guada

My favorite natural skin secret is using lemons to whiten elbows & knees 😀 I also use used coffee grounds as a scrub for my legs after shaving. I also use honey+sugar to make a lip scrub!

    • Yes! Those are all awesome ideas – I love all the coffee scrubs out there on the market right now, they make skin sooo smooth! 🙂

  • Kirsty Fox

I mix sugar with my fave body lotion to make a body scrub

What are the best natural products to use on oily, acne prone skin?

    • There are certain oils that do wonders on Oily, acne prone skin! Mi-Me’s Tomato Seed Facial Serum would be great choice since it contains oils that are lightweight and known to give a toning effect to skin and keep it clear. Tea-tree oil is also great for acne prone skins!

  • Elaine R

What do you recommend for fading acne scars? I’ve tried everything and can’t seem to lighten them!

    • Ahh, someone just asked this one Twitter and Mi-Me recommended their Tomato Seed Serum + Shea Butter! 🙂

  • Shari D

What is the best natural way to deal with oily hair?

    • Ohhh good question! I have an oily scalp and personally, I really like dry shampoo’s and I’m currently testing a great natural alternative from Zabana Essentials called Shimmery Dry Glow Shampoo. Don’t be afraid of the word shimmery, it really isn’t it just means it won’t look chalky or powdery in your hair. As for washing, I like Live Clean Apple Cider Shampoo, it really gets rid of any oil and residue without being harsh! It’s been my daily go-to for years now! 🙂

  • I’ve heard lots of good things about coconut oil for both body and hair, but I’ve never tried it. I should though cause it smells wonderful!

    • It’s the best for so many things Chantal! I don’t know why I don’t use it more often as a body moisturizer because it smells amazing, is all natural and moisturizes like no other! 🙂

  • A good hair mask every 2 weeks

    • I agree! I like Evolvh’s mask and plain old coconut oil!

  • I use hair serum after I get out of the shower and it makes my hair super soft! How can I prevent split ends??

    • Good question, I haven’t figured that one out yet either but it’s always a good idea to use heat protection when styling your hair 🙂
