Hey everyone, welcome to round two of my Pixi Haul and Collection! Today we will be talking about one of my all time favourite items, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pens.
I’m kind of an eyeliner hoarder. I’m always looking for the longest wearing, most pigment, prettiest colours and so on – so when I find myself going back to an eyeliner almost daily, you know it’s got to be something special! Case and point, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pens. Now, I can’t say I wear these everyday because I do like to switch up my colours and purple doesn’t go with everything, especially red, irritated allergy eyes…
The two colours I (currently) have are No. 5 Deep Plum and No. 9 Oyster Glow. Deep Plum is exactly as it sounds – a very deep purple that almost looks black when applied to the eye but softer. I have green eyes and find this really makes them pop without being too much over-the-top colour. Oyster Glow is a shimmering pink champagne. This colour is great for lining the inner corners to open up tired eyes. I also use it on my lower lash line to brighten things up on my very tired days.
Above are swatches of Deep Plum and Oyster Glow with and without flash. Both are gorgeous colours that I think would compliment any eye colour.
Now onto what really matters – the formula. Anyone can make pretty colours, but not everyone can make them last. The name of these eyeliners really is no joke. Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pens manage to do both colour and wearability nearly perfectly, and with an added super silky, super easy application. You only need one swipe of these eyeliners across your lid to create super pigmented and long lasting lines. I tend to get very oily eyelids and these even stand up for me on my 9 hour work days with no smudging or creasing.
Here is another close up swatch in natural daylight. Hopefully you can see the pretty shimmer that’s in each shade, it really makes eyes sparkle!
I’m definitely going to be picking up more of these liners. They have everything I look for in an eye pencil, long lasting formula, great pigment and easy application. My next purchases will be Sage Gold (golden green), Black Noir (basic black) and Black Violet (deepest lilac). Have you tried Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pens? Are there any other shades I must try?
