I’d Like You to Meet Matt(e).

Have you met Matt(e)? No? Well let me introduce you! His profile says he’s 6’2″, has blue eyes, works as an eyeshadow palette and enjoys long walks on the beach, creamy eyeshadows and fabulous liners. I’m not sure if you can get any closer to a Knight in Shining Armour!

I was lucky enough to win The Balm’s “What’s your tip Tuesday?” On their Facebook page for sharing where to wear their amazing Frat Boy blush for your face shape. I got to choose any current product on their website and after thorough investigation and consideration, I chose to Meet Matt(e), and boy was it a good choice! I think I’m in love (don’t tell my boyfriend).

Once you pen this cheeky little palette, it’s hard to decide which Matt(e) to try out first. Do you play it safe with reliable and trustworthy Matt Ramirez (chocolate brown)? Or do you go for the more daring, spontaneous Matt Schilling (emerald green-teal)? Well, I’ll tell you the best part – you don’t have to choose! You get 9 Matt(e)s to play around and experiment with and I don’t think it’s one too many!

You really do get every matte shade you could ever want in this kit! Everything from true nude, to smokey grey with pops of colour thrown in. I’m always wary of matte shadows as they can tend to come off as chalky and hard to blend but these shadows are super soft, blend easily and have amazing colour pay off! I typically have been using them to cut my crease with a co-ordinating eyeliner for a simple, but put together and defined look! There isn’t one Matt(e) I don’t like. I highly recommend you Meet Matt(e) yourself!
