A Double Whammy for Redness with Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Concealer Duo!

Good Morning everyone!

I hope you’ve all had a great couple weeks, mine have been extremely busy with my new job, school and everything else I have to get done on a daily basis, but I’m taking today to catch up on blogging! Today I’m sharing one of my new staples in my daily makeup look, it’s Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Concealer. This concealer is a double whammy with a yellow cream/liquid on one end and a super blendable and creamy stick on the other.

I must say I’ve never used a yellow toned concealer and was hesitant to try one. I know they can be useful in counteracting redness and sallowness in the skin but I never thought it would be practical or work as well as it said. I was pleasantly surprised with this super creamy and pigmented liquid! I’ve been using this almost every single day since I bought it a few weeks ago and can’t go without it now. I like to use it over blemishes to counteract redness as well as areas that tend to become a little red like around my mouth and nose. I even find I don’t have to use a regular flesh-toned concealer most of the time after I use this on my blemishes. It completely disappears into skin leaving no noticeable yellow tone but takes the redness with it!

The other end of this little wonder is a super creamy and blendable stick concealer in a normal flesh tone (looks a little yellow in the picture but it isn’t). It gives a light/medium coverage and leaves a moisturized finish. It looks great under eyes and around areas like the mouth and nose but I wouldn’t recommend it as a blemish concealer as the finish is not opaque enough to cover those types of things. I still get a lot of use out of both ends of these to give me a flawless face!

I’m not sure of the colours available in this concealer, I’ve only ever seen Yellow/Light in my stores but I assume it would come in more shades than that. The light is great for lighter skin tones as it looks good on me and I’m very pale. I forgot to mention the cute little roller ball blender that I actually do use because I like the way it feels haha. I have a Lorac concealer with the same idea but it has a highlighter as the liquid instead of another concealer. I’m glad a drugstore brand came out with the same idea as I love two-in-one products! I would recommend this if you’re looking for a light/medium coverage concealer to help combat redness.
